Jeff Cornwall Lawyer

Jeffrey Langevin has been practicing law in Ontario for over 24 years. Mr. Langevin holds degrees from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa.


He has developed a general practice focusing on the needs of individual clients in matters important to their personal welfare such as criminal defense, real-estate transactions, family law matters and claims for and against them in civil court. Mr. Langevin serves Eastern Ontario predominantly, from his offices in Ottawa, Cornwall, and now, Alexandria.

Ryan Cornwall lawyer

Ryan Langevin was called to the Ontario Bar in January, 2019. His practice is focused predominantly on criminal defense.


He began his law practice in Cornwall, but has since joined his father to better serve the communities of Ottawa and SD&G. Ryan graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with First Class Honors and was awarded the Father Charles Memorial Medal in Philosophy – the Department’s highest award to a graduating student. Following completion of his undergraduate degree, Ryan attended Lakehead University where he earned a Juris Doctor. Ryan looks forward to developing a general practice in the SD&G area.

Jessika Cornwall lawyer

Jessika Withers is an Incoming Articling Student with Langevin Law LLP. Her interests include criminal and family law.


Prior to attending law school, Jessika held the position as Trial Coordinator with the Nunavut Court of Justice in the Office of the Senior Judge. It was through this experience that her passion for law grew, which in turn led her to pursue a Juris Doctor.

After her first year of law school, Jessika had the opportunity to work with the Federal Indian Day School Class Action at Gowling WLG in Ottawa. Here she was able to work with Canada’s most vulnerable population, helping individuals take control of their lives once again. Jessika is now in her last semester of the English Common Law program at the University of Ottawa. Upon completion, she will continue working with the team at Langevin Law, growing her career as a confident and vibrant young Defence Lawyer. Her goal is to become a strong advocate for her future clients in both Ontario and in Nunavut.

Alana Cornwall lawyer

Alana joined Langevin Law LLP in January 2021 as an articling student after completing her joint JD / B.C.L program at McGill University Faculty of Law.


During law school, she was involved in volunteer work as a case worker and student advocate at McGill’s Legal Information Clinic and Innocence Project, as well as a director within the McGill Arbitration Student Society. Prior to law school, she completed a joint honours degree in public administration and political science at the University of Ottawa, while working in the Federal Government. Originally from Brockville, Ontario she is excited to join the Langevin team and to be working in Eastern Ontario.
